El Burrito Borrachito: A Story Rich in Culture and Flavor

“The Buzzed Donkey” mascot is playful and memorable, referencing the infamous Tijuana Zabra Striped Donkey’s aka “Zonkey’s” and my youth spent exploring the city’s street food scene. From tiny shacks , small street side window openings, smoke houses, taco row’s, hot dog carts, eloteros, paleteros to huge street city markets showcasing food and ingredients from around the country. That’s me “The Tequila Kid” in 1986 on “Bimbo” recently coined “Zonkey-Xote de la Plancha” by yours truly. Cheers and Salud!
